A Special Visitor.

This week the year 2's had a visit from an anthropologist. Her name was Katrina. She gave us puzzle pieces to solve. We took an anthropologist's pledge, where we promised to solve puzzles of people, past and present, to always do our best and to make meaning of history. Katrina is coming with us on our excursion next Thursday to Stradbroke Island. She is going to help us solve some more puzzles. We can't wait! Have you been to Straddie? What do you think we will see on our excursion?

                                                          This is Riley's pledge!

St John Vianney's Feast Day

Today we celebrated St John Vianney's feast day. We went to mass this morning and Fr Frank told us that St John Vianney was born in France and he is the patron saint of priests. At lunch time we celebrated with a big cake for the whole school. It was yummy!
