This week in Year 2 Maths, we have been learning about SYMMETRY. 
Symmetry is when one design becomes exactly like another if you Slide, Flip, or Turn it.

Welcome everybody to 2016. 2J are ready to learn and have some fun this year with Mrs T.

Grandparents Day 2014

Today at our school we celebrated Grandparents Day.  We loved showing our grandparents our classroom and some of our artwork. Then we all went to the hall for a special liturgy.

                                          Alyssa's mum & dad also visited our classroom.

                   We made special cards for our grandparents who couldn't visit us today.

We love our granddads and grandmas and thank them for being so kind to us!!

Roald Dahl

This week we were lucky to watch performers who acted out lots of Roald Dahl stories.
Our favourites were Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the Twits, The Enormous Crocodile and James and the Giant Peach.
